You Belong to God

Who do you belong to? It seems like an odd question to ask, but it might just be one of the most important in this prayer journey. People identify themselves in so many different ways — by family, by jobs, and by their interests.

Who you belong to says a lot about your full identity. Your ultimate identity lies in who you belong to — God. You are His child, and Jesus prayed about this truth. How does your mindset need to change today knowing you are a child of God? You belong to Him.

Speak a prayer today, getting personal with God about how you feel about belonging to Him. Confess what identities you need to drop so you can fully identify as a child of God.
